Inspired by Gaultier 2 by Jean Paul Gaultier
- The year of low-lit lounges, handwritten phone numbers, and fragrances that didn’t just scent the skin—they owned the night. Guilt2 is the return of that era’s intoxicating confidence, reimagined for today but steeped in the nostalgia of when perfume was meant to be felt as much as smelled.
It opens with jasmine, luminous and silken, its white petals carrying a dew-kissed freshness that’s both innocent and quietly provocative. The floral brightness glows against the skin like a warm smile across a crowded room—subtle yet magnetic.
As the jasmine’s brightness softens, sandalwood rises through the composition—creamy, polished, and smooth as a cashmere sweater pulled close on a cool evening. Its warmth is not loud but enveloping, an intimate embrace that smells of golden light and slow dances. You can almost feel the grain of the wood under your fingertips, its polished surface glowing in candlelight.
Then, ambergris takes over—mineral-rich and softly animalic, with a salty sweetness that recalls skin warmed after hours of being close to someone. It’s an accord that smells alive, with a pulse that beats in time with yours. The dry-down is addictive, the kind of scent that lingers in the memory of anyone who gets near you, making them want to lean in again… and again.
This is not a loud fragrance—it’s a presence. It radiates warmth without heaviness, sweetness without dessert-like sugar, sensuality without obviousness. Guilt2 is both masculine and feminine, both familiar and mysterious—an Oriental Woody harmony that moves effortlessly between tenderness and desire.
It’s the scent of whispered secrets in the back of a taxi, of a favorite leather jacket worn over bare skin, of nights that stretch into mornings without anyone watching the clock. Back in 2005, it was unforgettable. In Guilt2, it still is.
