Inspired by Soie Malaquais by Dries Van Noten, Malaquais is a fragrance of texture and contrast—silk and spice, fruit and warmth, softness and depth. It is the scent of Paris at dusk, where shadows stretch across cobblestones and everything feels touched by quiet glamour.
The opening is vivid and bright: juicy black currant and sparkling bergamot create an electric first impression, tart yet luminous, like the glint of evening light on polished silk.
At its heart, silk unfurls—not as fabric but as sensation. It’s smooth, enveloping, almost tactile, weaving through the tender, romantic bloom of rose. Together, they create an accord that feels both refined and intimate, like a whisper on the skin.
The base lingers with comforting richness. Chestnut adds a roasted, nutty warmth, while cacao drapes it in a soft, dark sweetness. The result is a drydown that’s addictive, creamy, and quietly decadent—elegance with a gourmand touch.
The accords—fruity, floral, gourmand, and woody—move like shifting fabrics, changing with every breath, leaving a trail as sophisticated as it is sensual.
Malaquais is homage to Dries Van Noten’s Soie Malaquais, but speaks its own language: a fragrance of silk and shadows, modernity and nostalgia, soft power and subtle seduction.
Malaquais: when elegance becomes touch.
